Capture Your Day At Zip World With Garmin
Garmin, the global leader in satellite navigation, has announced an exciting new partnership with Zip World, set to give thrill-seekers across the country the chance to capture and record their adventures at the UK’s top zip line attraction.
Home to both the largest zip line in Europe and the fastest zip line in the world, Zip World is a true haven for adrenaline junkies, and now visitors to the park will have the chance to record the exhilarating footage and stunning views from their zip line adventure on the Garmin VIRB Elite action camera.
The VIRB Elite is a top of the range action camera that combines style and ease of use with Garmin’s innovative technology. Boasting a 1080p HD video, recording for up to 3 hours, chromo display, a long-lasting rechargeable lithium-ion battery and 16 megapixel CMOS image processor, the VIRB Elite’s impressive range of features make it the perfect choice for outdoor enthusiasts looking to capture their exploits.
Sean Taylor, Commercial Director at Zip World, said: "Zip World is incredibly proud to work in partnership with Garmin as both companies offer world class products with exceptional customer care.
"It’s great that Garmin have provided us with the VIRB Elites as it gives us the chance to offer our customers the unique opportunity to capture their day riding the fastest zip line in the world.
"One of our favourite things about the VIRB is that our customers will have the opportunity to record their speed as they travel down the wire, giving them the chance to truly re-live the experience again and again."
Katie Harrison, Marketing Executive at Garmin, said: "Garmin is excited to be working in partnership with Zip World to offer visitors the chance to record their adventures and take home a special memento from their exhilarating day at Zip World.
"The VIRB range of lightweight action cameras are perfect for outdoor adventurers looking to record their challenges and exploits. The camera records GPS data, such as speed and altitude meaning it will show you just how fast you were going and from what height – this makes the VIRB Elite perfect for riders looking to re-live and share their day of adventure on some of the most exhilarating zip lines in the world."
In addition to recording speed and altitude, the VIRB Elite is equipped with ANT+ wireless compatibility that works with Garmin’s external sensors such as the heart rate monitor, temperature sensor and vector power meter, allowing users to record their vitals as they take on Zip World’s two giants –Velocity, which is the world’s fastest zip line and Titan, the largest zip zone in Europe.
The VIRB Elite retails at £349.99 and is available in both white and dark outer design. It’s rugged and aerodynamic form is also durable and waterproof to depths of 1m, making it the perfect accomplice for any adventure.
