Garmin gets catch hook, line and sounder!

Nigel Craine, Marine OEM and Product Manager for Team Garmin, braved the icy seas and rolling waves to go on a fishing expedition in the English Channel.

The Fishing vessel, kindly supplied by SMG of Plymouth, took the intrepid crew of hardy fishermen and first timers out on the high seas to test the GPSMAP 5012 touchscreen chartplotter with a GSD 22 sounder and GMR 18 radar.

Despite rough conditions and biting winds the Garmin equipment led our seafarers safely to their goal and Nigel bagged himself a large Pollack for dinner. Chips anyone?
