Middlesbrough FC to open the new season against Tottenham
It doesn’t seem that long ago that we were writing about Middlesbrough’s thrilling end of season eight goal mauling of Manchester City – and we can now tell you that the new season is upon us… well almost!
Garmin sponsored Middlesbrough FC will be starting the 2008/2009 season with a new kit and high hopes and will open up with a fixture against Tottenham at The Riverside Stadium. The game will kick off at 3pm on the 16th of August and the full fixture list can be seen on the Middlesbrough FC website.
If you can’t wait that long to see the team in action, then get yourself to York this Friday as the Middlebrough team will be taking part in a friendly fixture. If York’s a bit too far for to get your ‘Boro fix then make sure you follow the Middlesbrough players currently taking part in the European Football Championships. These include Austria’s Emmanuel Pogatetz and Tuncay Sanli of Turkey.
