Terms and Conditions – Great Manchester 10k (Garmin Contest)

  1. These terms and conditions (“Rules”) apply to the competition to be conducted by Garmin (Europe) Ltd through the period of 14th – 15th May 2019 (the “Competition”).  By entering the competition, you agree to be bound by these Rules.  In the event of any dispute regarding the Rules, conduct, results and all other matters relating to this, the decision of Garmin shall be final, and no correspondence or discussion shall be entered into.  
  2. The Competition Promoter is Garmin (Europe) Ltd of Liberty House, Hounsdown Business Park, Southampton, Hampshire SO40 9LR.
  3. No purchase is necessary to enter or win this Competition.  Making a purchase will not increase your chances of winning.  To enter, you will be required post a photograph of your Garmin device underneath the Garmin UK Facebook post: “Want to run the largest 10k in Europe this Sunday? 🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️ Post a picture below of your Garmin and you’ll be in for a chance to win a place at the Great Manchester Run 👇 Winners will also receive a pre-race coaching call with Garmin Running Coach Martin Yelling! Good luck! 🏅”. The photo must be posted during the period of; 14th – 15th (23:59) April 2019.
  4. This Promotion is open to UK & Ireland residents only. All participants must be 18 years of age or over to be eligible for this Competition.
  5. One (1) entry per person only is permitted. Any attempt by any participant to obtain more than one Competition entry will void that participant’s entry and result in his/her disqualification from the Competition.
  6. Prize: Garmin will give away five (5) Race Places to The Simplyhealth Great Manchester Run 10k run. No other prizes will be given away as part of this Competition. The competition prize is non-transferable and non-refundable and must be accepted as awarded.  The winner is responsible for paying all taxes associated with receipt of the Prize.
  7. Participation in the Competition constitutes your consent to Garmin’s global use of your name, likeness, photograph and city of residence for promotional purposes without further payment or consideration.
  8. The winners will be contacted by Thursday 16th May 2019. If a winner fails to acknowledge their win within 24 hours, the prize will be picked for a new winner.  Closing date for this competition is 15th (23:59) April 2019
  9. Garmin will act as judge by randomly selecting one (5) winners. The odds of winning depend upon the number of eligible entries received. The judges’ decisions will be final in every situation, including any not covered above and no correspondence will be entered into.
  10. The Competition and the terms and conditions of this agreement will be governed by English law.
  11. Garmin will not pass your personal details to any other organisation without your permission, except for the purpose of awarding your prize if necessary.
