Garmin Ladies Raise Money for Race for Life

Well done to the Garmin ladies who took part in Race for Life this weekend. Overall more than 6,000 women turned Southampton Common into a sea of pink to raise vital money for cancer research.

There was a cheerful atmosphere with a lot of people running, walking and even pushing pushchairs, decked out in wigs, fairy wings, and tutus. Garmin staff were a bit more restrained in terms of their dress, but just as dedicated!

The Team wore various Garmin running watches, including a few new vívofit fitness bands.

Of course the fun is all for a good cause – to get everyone involved in defeating cancer. Money raised at Race for Life events go towards paying for research to help beat all 200 types of the disease.
