Brownlee triumphs at Beauvais
This weekend saw the 24th annual French Grand Prix continue, with Garmin sponsored Alistair Brownlee again making his mark on the triathlon world by winning the second leg of this championship.
Alistair, who competed under a disadvantage after having stitches in his leg due to a dog attack just the day before, broke away from the crowd at the swim with 12 other competitors.
His commitment and determination was more than evident as he took a further lead with three other triathletes during the run, after expanding his lead on the bike.
With only 400m to go, Alistair pulled away from the pack and took a convincing lead.
