Garmin at Cowes

Two members of Garmin’s marine team were delighted to be invited to race among 25 40-foot Sunsail yachts fully equipped with Garmin marine systems at Cowes this week. Along with their fantastic crew they managed to achieve 11th place!
The sun was shining and it was ladies’ day with one yacht privileged to have Pippa Hare skippering on board during the race.  Pippa is soon to be competing in this year’s Mini Transat: a single-handed sailing marathon of over 4200 miles which casts off in the French port of La Rochelle and heads southwest to Brazil via the island of Madeira, taking four weeks to cross the Atlantic.
