Garmin ecoRoute software commended at 9th Annual GreenFleet Awards

Garmin were proud sponsors of the Private Sector Fleet of the Year Award (500+ vehicles) and our congratulations go to the winners TNT who in May 2008 announced it was investing £7m in 100 Newton vehicles – giving the company the largest zero emission electric fleet of delivery vehicles in the world – A well deserved winner!

Our own ecoRoute software was highly commended, in the IT innovation category and it was inspiring to see so many companies committed to making impressive innovations to their products or changes to their fleet, with winners in 23 categories every possible element of environmental fleet management was considered.

The new nuvi 465T truck sat-nav with specialised routing options and truck friendly points of interest was well received by fleet managers and trucking professionals with an overwhelming response that this is what they had been waiting for!
