Garmin helps record breaking Skycar

The world's first commercial flying car is making its way from London to Timbuktu this month, ably assisted by a Garmin Zumo 550.  The unusual vehicle left London on the 13th January and has travelled through Europe and down towards Africa.

Having recently traversed the Gibraltar Straight ( the first car ever to be flown across this area) the Skycar and its crew are now heading through Morocco toward the final destination of Timbuktu, by the end of the fly-drive challenge the Skycar will have travelled a tyre flattening 6,000km.
