Garmin nüvis crowned Which? magazine’s top three

Our new collection of nüvi sat navs has scooped a triple victory in the independent consumer body Which? magazine’s December 2009 Best Buy Awards. Portable navigators from seven manufacturers were on test, which found the full-featured nüvi 1490T “Best for UK and Europe”, the nüvi 1310 “Great for UK” and the nüvi 1210 “Accurate, cheap and portable”.

The extra-widescreen nüvi 1490T topped the charts with 73% and commendation for its screen size, traffic and European maps. The ultra-slim widescreen nüvi 1310 with Bluetooth grabbed the silver with Lane Assist and Text to Speech getting special mentions. And the portable nüvi 1210 bagged third place with its flair for pinpointing locations.
