Garmin Top Three in the Which? Sat Nav Test Lab
Garmin, the global leaders* in satellite navigation has again topped the ‘Which? Test Lab’ charts receiving the top three places in the Sat Nav’s group test. The overall winner was the nüvi 3760T the thinnest sat nav currently available on the market, in second place was the nüvi 1690 with live traffic and live connected services and in third place was the nüvi 1310.
According to Which? Garmin’s nüvi 3760T is a super-slim model with advanced features such as Garmin’s exclusive lane assistance for junctions, sound quality is good and the instructions are clear. It has high-quality maps and is easy to update map data. Its sister model, the nüvi 3790T, scores equally well.
Which? conducted the test with other sat nav providers and leading smartphone applications and concluded that, “Phone apps won’t be overtaking the best buy Sat Navs for a while.”
