Golf LIVE 2011
The second Golf LIVE event was successfully hosted this weekend at The London Golf Club. Over 11,000 enthusiastic golfers attended the show and witnessed the tour stars in a rare relaxed and informal environment.
Garmin were accompanied by American Golf on their stand to sell the Approach golf GPS range. The Approach S1 GPS watch continued to amaze the Golf LIVE crowds with its ease of use and accuracy whilst the G3 and G5 offer all the information a golfer would want from a handheld golf GPS.
On the Garmin Mid Iron and Approach theatre talents such as two time US Open champion Retief Goosen, Paul McGinley, Michael Campbell, Carly Booth, Thomas Levet and David Howell passed on their knowledge of how to get close from within 150 yards.
Needless to say the masses were not only entertained by their golfing prowess but by the banter between the pros and the presenter; BBC’s Andrew Cotter.
