IBEX Award

Garmin is delighted to have won the prestigious OEM electronics award for the GPSMAP 7215* at the IBEX (International Boatbuilders Exhibition) Awards. Garmin was up against 67 other products all judged for their innovative distinction, benefit to the marine industry and/or consumer practicality and cost effectiveness. Each category had only one winner which makes the award even more special!

The GPSMAP 7215 impressed with its ability to deliver a black box product into a single stand-alone unit – an innovation break though by Garmin reducing installation time and eliminating cabling.
Judges were also impressed with the GPSMAP 7215 15” bright touchscreen delivering smooth map planning and zooming due to the built-in second processor with double graphics power of traditional systems**.
