Are you an Average Joe?

Want to be fitter but don’t have the drive or know how to do it?

Enter Garmin's "Not-so-Average Joe" competition to be in with the chance of winning personal training with Mirror.co.uk's health & fitness expert Steve Halsall, as well as a host of goodies to get you prepared to take part in Cancer Research UK's Run10K 2009 national event series.

Garmin wants to put one guy and one girl through a personally tailored six week training program to prepare them to run at Cancer Research UK's Dorney Lake Run10K event.

Using a Garmin Forerunner 405CX and getting training advice and motivation from Steve, Garmin will FR405 LF_HR follow two ordinary people through their quest to get fitter through video diaries and online blogs.

To be considered simply register here and tell us in 50 words or less why you would like to complete a 10K and/or why you need help training.  Don't worry if you're not a Garmin winner, you can take part in 41 Run10K events across the country this autumn, so there's plenty of opportunity to take up the challenge and raise money to help beat cancer.
