New vision for 2008 with Garmin GPSMap 5015

Gpsmap_5015 One of the most hands-on exhibits at the Garmin stand at this year’s London Boat Show is the touchscreen GPSMap 5015 multi-function display.

This button-free unit packs a whopping 15-inch screen into the same space as a 12-inch screen. A touchscreen interface lets you press, drag and select the pages to plan and control your course in a fraction of the standard time.

Another big-screen, multi-function display introduced at the show is the GPSMap 4010, a mid-range 10-inch screen model to complement our GPSMAP 4008 and 4012 units. Both MFDs boast a new Garmin interface which lets the user see the information they need in a glance, and select data in fewer presses. They are also fully compatible with the Garmin Marine Network, for even more options when configuring a helm. The new screens will be available in March 2008
