Saracens attend training day with sponsors Garmin®
Garmin, the global leader in satellite navigation*, was delighted to welcome the Saracens Rugby squad to a very successful training day in its home county of Hampshire on Friday 23rd July.
The event, hosted at Eastleigh Rugby Club, gave spectators a taster of the many gruelling sessions the team will go through to prepare for the fast-approaching Rugby season, which kicks off in September.
The training day not only gave Garmin assurance of the Saracens’ ability to perform but also provided lucky local schools Priestlands and Hounsdown with a close-up view of the athletes in action.
Saracens Coach Andy Farrell was on hand to discuss priceless training methods with the school children. Justin Whitbread Head of PE at Priestlands School said:
“It was an invaluable experience for the kids to get close to professional players and help them improve their game”.
