Singletrack Mag labels Garmin Edge 705 ‘a super duper bike computer’
Issue 51 of Singletrack Mountain Bike Magazine, sees a range of Garmin GPS products pitted against the rest in the 'Which GPS should I buy?' feature from Geoff Johnson. Taking a view from the navigator's angle, training cadets and those wanting to share rides and routes, Garmin storms to victory with the Edge 705 and eTrex H pronounced clear winners.
Geoff labels Garmin's Edge 705 'a super duper bike computer. A bike computer on steriods' and the eTrex H 'a fantastic piece of kit, you could compare it's simplicity with a rigid single speed but it's as capable as a 5in bouncer'. He also offers great feedback on the Oregon 300 with OS Maps and its suitability for the Mountain Biking community, 'the unit is a robust, rubberized, well-sealed instrument, clearly designed to stand up to being used and abused in the wettest Scottish summers and the grimmest Peak District mud fests'.
Who knows how he's going to describe the recently launched Dakota 20 but we're pretty sure Singletrack readers are going to love it!! Get down to your local newsagents to read the full review in Singletrack Issue 51.
