Team Garmin Slipstream grab coveted jersey in Volta ao Algarve
The Volta ao Algarve is underway and Team Garmin's Will Frischkorn took the green climbers jersey after breaking away from the peloton early and powering ahead up the Coelho hill climb. This sees Frischkorn ahead as the current mountain classification leader and puts Team Garmin in great stead for the next stages. With Hans Dekkers coming fourth in the Olhao stage, this pushes Garmin-Slipstream up to 5th place in the Volta ao Algarve overall team classification.
