Team Garmin take on the Bournemouth Run 10K race for Cancer Research UK

Garmin is proud to partner the Run 10K series and Sunday saw 10 of the best take on 10 gruelling kilometres in aid of Cancer Research UK.  On a cold and sunny morning, Team Garmin arrived at Bournemouth Pier complete with trailer and ten Team Garmin runners, who were raring to take on the course ahead.

After a swift warm up, Team Garmin joined over 1,000 other runners and took to the track pounding their way through 10,000 metres of sand covered pavement through Bournemouth. The fastest runner of the day came in at around 37 minutes (we suspect he was using superhuman power), with Team Garmin's Ben Sisson leading his pack at a quick 45 minutes and 33 seconds.

Here at Garmin we want to congratulate all of the runners who took part, especially our gang – Ben Sisson, Ollie Stone, Mark Timms, Chris Merrell, Linda Christoffersson, Charlee Gladman, Laura Tomei, Trevor Pegrum, Tony Broad and Paul Wilson who have raised over £400. Team Garmin Rocks!
