The band is back!! Boro launch new shirt

The band is back, with a swoosh!! Boro have unveiled their new look home kit for next season 2008-9, as chosen by the club’s supporters in a recent poll.

With the shirt featuring the iconic white chestband, the new strip will go on sale exclusively to season card holders from 8am tomorrow and then to all from Saturday – in good time for the summer holiday kick about in the park.

The strip will be worn for the first time against Manchester City this Sunday (3pm) in the final game of the season. But the image of Alfonso Alves and one of Middlesbrough’s die hard fans Clive Edge gives you a sneak preview ahead of the game.

We reckon the new kit looks great and the Garmin logo stands out a mile. We’ll be getting hold of some to give away soon so keep checking back to the blog for more info.
