The Country Walking geocaching challenge is solved!
Country Walking magazine and Garmin ran a geocaching competition in their January 2009 issue where the readers were set a challenge to find a specific geocache situated in the UK; the first to find the cache, record the winning code and email it to Country Walking wins!
The readers of Country Walking scoured the UK searching for the illusive ‘Weird Sisters’ geocache. The keenest cachers hunted down the cache which was located in the Curbar Edge within the Peak District, Derbyshire.
The first to the cache was David Flint of Chesterfield and closely behind him was Ros Rendle of Acton. Congratulations to them both who win a Garmin Oregon 300 hand held sat nav to help them on their next geocaching adventure.
