The Garmin teams perform well on a weekend of sport

This weekend saw the Garmin sponsored Team Halfords BTCC team perform extremely well at the Rockingham race meet.  Halfords’ driver Gordon “Flash” Shedden won the first of the day’s races meaning that the team is now in a credible fourth place after only two circuits in 2008. 

In addition to that, one of Garmin’s other sponsored teams was playing in the Premier League.  Middlesbrough FC, as sponsored by Garmin Sat Nav, earned a hard fought draw at Tottenham.  If you saw Match of the Day you will have seen Stewart Downing’s thirty yard strike to cancel out an early goal from Spurs.
