Wings For Life: Race With Connect IQ Apps

Before taking the starting line at the Wings For Life World Run, sync your Garmin watch to the Connect IQ Store and download the following apps. The Wings for Life – Catch Distance and the Wings for Life – Catch Time Remaining apps will help you predict the time and at what distance you’ll be at when the Catcher Car passes you.

The data field in the Catch Distance App will continuously estimate your goal distance where the car will overtake you based on the distance you have already completed. It will project the finish line by using the average running velocity for the past five minutes. The data field in the Catch Time Remaining App will tell you how much time is remaining until the Catcher Car will pass you.

Both apps will start counting from starting the activity and will continue even if you pause your watch.
