Additionally, the United Kingdom’s Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has partnered with the European Union to help ease the transition to 8.33 kHz airspace. This agreement will allow aircraft owners and pilots with aircraft registered in the UK to apply for a grant reducing the overall cost of switching to 8.33 kHz compliant radios by as much as 20 percent.
