Military Charities Benefit From 11th Annual Garmin Automotive OEM Golf Invitational
The Garmin automotive OEM team collaborated with more than 40 suppliers to raise funds for military charities during the Global Supplier Awards and Charity Golf Invitational in Novi, Mich. Held in late August, the 11th annual fundraiser raised an impressive $168,000, with each of the following charities receiving approximately $42,000:
- Michigan Operation Freedom Outdoors
- Blue Star Service Dogs
- Selfridge Air National Guard Base
- 125th Infantry Regiment of the Michigan Army National Guard
In addition to golfing for a good cause, the team recognized the second annual Garmin auto OEM 2024 Supplier of the Year winner, Tripod Technology Corporation. The award exemplifies an automotive supplier who exceeds Garmin’s expectations for technical and commercial support and reflects Garmin’s core values of honesty, integrity, and respect.
