Garmin Aviation Heads to AERO Friedrichshafen
This week, our aviation team travels to Friedrichshafen, Germany, for what many consider to be the international annual meeting place for general aviation. The AERO Friedrichshafen show spans Wednesday, April 20 – Saturday April 23, and draws 600 exhibitors from 35 countries and 33,000 visitors from all over the world. We’ll be on hand showing off our latest experimental, certified and portable product offerings.
With the convention happening so close to the Red Bull Air Race in Spielberg, pilots Pete McLeod and Hannes Arch will fly in to Friedrichshafen Wednesday, April 20. McLeod and Arch will be explaining how to fly like a Red Bull pilot, and signing autographs at our booth. Afterward, they will return to Spielberg and continue preparations for the race, taking place April 23-24.
German musician, pilot and Garmin advocate Smudo will also be attending the show. On Thursday, April 21, he will be presenting a Q & A discussion at the AERO main stage, followed by signing autographs at the Garmin booth.
