Garmin Ranks 1st in Pro Pilot Magazine Product Support Survey for 12th Straight Year
On January 6th, the Garmin Aviation Product Support Team was honored with the top spot in Professional Pilot Magazine’s 2016 Avionics Product Support Survey. The accolade, which was voted on by customers, was Garmin’s 12th award in as many years.
The survey, which is administered annually by Pro Pilot, consists of grades in product reliability, speed in AOG service, costs of parts, manuals or CDs, technical representatives, and support from manufacturer, culminating in an overall score. Our overall score increased from an 8.44 (out of 10) in 2015, to 8.50 in 2016. We saw improvements in the individual category scores of speed of AOG service, cost of parts, manuals or CDs, and technical representatives.
Phil Straub, Vice President Managing Director – Aviation, commented on the achievement,“I want to congratulate the Product Support team on this remarkable accomplishment. They are the front line to our customers and reflect the care we have for them and the values of our company.
