For the first time, we have teams who can take advantage of the full Garmin and Tacx ecosystem, and we’re proud to have the best riders in the world in many different disciplines riding for us.
Teams sponsored by Garmin will be equipped with a variety of Edge cycling computers, such as the Edge 130, 530, 830 or 1030.
They will also be riding with the Varia RTL510 rearview radar during training, which will warn of vehicles approaching from behind, while a tail light brightens and flashes to alert drivers of a cyclist ahead. The teams also use a wide variety of our other products, such as wearables and sat navs to get from race to race.
Several Tacx-sponsored teams will be able to take their training indoors with smart trainers, including the NEO 2T Smart. This is admired within the industry for its unique features including road feel, dynamic inertia and descent simulation, making training feel more lifelike.
Additionally, many of the sponsored teams will be training and racing with Tacx bottles and bottle cages.
We cannot wait to see how our teams and riders get on in 2020. Follow GarminCycling’s social channels for insights from all of our professional teams throughout 2020.
