Garmin Releases Annual Corporate Sustainability Report
Garmin has published its 2021 Corporate Sustainability Report, building on its ongoing commitment to annual environmental, social and governance reporting. The report identifies our five key corporate pillars of People, Product, Operations, Growth and Sustainability — and highlights specific strategies for continued success that point us toward the future.
“Corporate sustainability is not a passive activity. It means actively engaging in and conducting business in manners that promote financial, environmental and societal stewardship. It is reducing risks, uncovering opportunities and creating long-term value for all stakeholders,” said Garmin President and CEO Cliff Pemble. “Sustainability topics and focus areas may evolve over time, but our commitment to sustainability is unwavering.”
In addition to financial and corporate highlights, the report offers an overview of Garmin’s diversity and inclusion initiatives and workplace culture as well as programs designed to ensure occupational health and safety and human rights protections. Policies, practices and achievements in the areas of supply chain governance, conflict minerals compliance, sustainable product design, and environmentally friendly manufacturing and operations also are included in the report.
