Gabriel Gray’s “The Cycle” Adventure
Adventurist and stand up paddleboarder Gabriel Gray has led an extraordinary life. Gabriel is an outdoorsman, survivalist, firefighter, EMT Medic, USLA open water lifeguard, creator of The Fight to SOAR Project, and Garmin ambassador. Now Gabriel has his sights set on a dream journey we believe to be the first of its kind.
On August 2nd of this year, Gabriel, along with photographers Jackson Berger and Josh Aldrige, will be hiking and paddling through the Sawtooth Mountain Range over a 10-day period. To our knowledge, this will be the first time a SUP has been on these alpine lakes, and the first time anyone has traversed a mountain range with a SUP.
Together, they will explore, fish, and SUP more than 30 lakes while there. These lakes make up the headwaters for the Payette, Salmon, Boyette, and many others in Idaho. During the expedition, the guys will have plenty of time to play around, SUP, fish, climb some 10k peaks, camp, and get some killer shots with the Garmin VIRB. On the last day when they reach redfish, they will paddle out some 6 miles back to civilization.
This trip will be a little different for Gabriel as he hopes to try and make it more interactive. The team will be using Facebook Live, Instagram and Snapchat in order to create short episodes for a social media reality adventure show of sorts. The team will be showcasing new products, visiting National Parks, rivers, and lakes while making some amazing memories with good ole friendship and adventure.
