Garmin® Announces Victory in Pacing Technologies Patent Case

OLATHE, Kan.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Garmin International, Inc., a subsidiary of Garmin Ltd. (NASDAQ: GRMN) , the global leader in satellite navigation, announced victory today in the lawsuit brought by Pacing Technologies, LLC, against Garmin. The United States District Court for the Southern District of California granted Garmin’s motion for summary judgment of non-infringement and found that Garmin’s popular Forerunner^® and Edge^® products could not be covered by Pacing’s patent. The Court’s decision is subject to appeal.
