Garmin announces Surfline widget now available on Connect IQ Store
Check tide information, wave height, wind, and surf ratings from compatible Garmin smartwatches
OLATHE, Kan./ September 8, 2021/Media Alert – Garmin® International, Inc., a unit of Garmin Ltd. (NASDAQ: GRMN), today announced the Surfline widget, available to download from the Garmin Connect IQ™ Store. The new widget offers surfing enthusiasts the ability to check conditions1 for the five nearest surfing spots from a paired compatible Garmin smartwatch downloaded with the Surfline app. Once downloaded, users will see an easy-to-read, visual representation of tide information, wave height, wind, and surf quality rating for locations thanks to an integration with Surfline reports.
