Garmin selected as an Official Supplier for Luna Rossa Prada Pirelli

November 13, 2023 – Garmin^® today announced that it has been selected as an Official Supplier by Luna Rossa Prada Pirelli, the Italian challenger for the 37th America’s Cup. As an Official Supplier, Garmin will provide the team with its high-performance marine technology and entertainment solutions as well as a wide range of fitness products. Garmin will be the Official Supplier of team Luna Rossa Prada Pirelli for the full campaign leading up to the 37th America’s Cup, to be held in Barcelona, Spain in 2024.

Luna Rossa has an amazing record in the history of the America’s Cup. Born in 1997, the team has participated in five America’s Cup events with the same goal: to win the Cup and take it to Italy.

In the preparations for the 37th America’s Cup, Garmin will provide its renowned marine navigation, communication, digital switching and entertainment products to the team’s chase boats, including the zero-emissions hydrogen-powered foiling catamaran required by the 37th America’s Cup Protocol. To win the America’s Cup, the highest level of physical performance is required. Garmin will also support Luna Rossa Prada Pirelli with a wide range of its fitness products, including Edge^® cycling computers, Rally^™ Power Meter Pedals, Index^™ smart scales and sensors, all tracked individually for each athlete on the Garmin Connect^™ platform.
